In order to be able to grind spheres and calottes for medical technology, we have acquired a grinding machine by Thielenhaus, which enables us to manufacture e.g. balls for hip prostheses of perfect quality.
With this machine, we achieve a maximum in productivity and at the same time unequalled surface finish and sphericity. After production, the spheres are checked for any faults in the material using a microscope. Over the years, we have found other areas where spherical surfaces of highest precision are a guarantee for durable and perfect end products.
